A chain-mail says Microsoft and AOL are conducting an experiment willing to pay 245 euros per each message sent, 243 euros per message sent by a person it was sent to, 241 per third generation. Is it true?

I'm going to see yes, absolutely, 100% a scam. There's no way any company would do such a thing and they couldn't track it even if they wanted to, and it sounds just like tons and tons of other scams just like it.

Chain would have reached millions of ppl.....do you think mic/aol really can pay this much. Noway its a scam. be cautious!

Chain mails in general are always scams. There's no proof for any of them, not that Applebees is going to give you a gift card, AOL is going to give you a hundred dollars, or that you'll be blessed with good luck.

Anything that says "Forward this to your friends!" is a lie or a joke. I forward stuff only when it's funny or entertaining, not when it's a scam.
