We have received this email telling us to email everyone in our address book that this guy is a hacker and once he is in your address book he can access your computer and those of your address book

Not a problem unless you read an email from him, i think. For safety, we should not read any email from stranger or even from friend if the Email client warning you that may have a virus underneath
