Abuse Report:
Healers who claim that they can perform psychic surgeries are charlatans. They do not care if their patients actually get well as long as they get paid for the bogus practice. They would not even provide medication to people who may be seriously ill and need drugs to get cured. These charlatans can be extremely convincing. What they provide is the assurance that what they are doing is a cure-all, so there may be a few who can get well through the imaginary surgery.

Have you seen documentaries on psychic surgeries? They are revealed as fake. The supposedly invasive procedure is nothing more than fast hands massaging the diseased part of the patient's body. If these fake healers prescribe medicine, their clients would have been alerted to their game. Why would I need medicine if I am being healed mystically? These patients are actually submitted to a procedure that could ultimately take their lives. And why not? If they thought highly of psychic surgeries, they would not go to a real doctor anymore.

Abuse Report:
I do not think anybody gets well through psychic surgeries. I think it is unfair that these "clients" do not get the medical treatment that they deserve. Those who appear to get well are only experiencing a sort of a high, right after the psychic surgery. When that high wears off, they are back to their diseased old selves. If they are fanatic believers of psychic surgery, they may just think of it as a relapse. Others may not even be as sick as they think they are. Yet others have been under genuine medical treatment but got frustrated. When the cure finally starts working, they have already seen the psychic surgeon. The fake healer then gets the credit doctors deserve.

Abuse Report:
Psychic surgeries aren't real at all. Believers who consult fake healers that perform these so-called surgeries get well not through the powers of psychic surgeries but through the power of the placebo effect. The placebo effect works when people believe that they are going to get healed. This strong belief helps them get better even though they were not really given a cure. This is why those who have a more upbeat attitude toward their illnesses get better soon, unlike those who stress, fuss, and worry about their disease. However, when real medication is put into the equation, the results may vary. In psychic surgeries, there is no medication or actual surgery that happens so healing is purely brought by belief.
