Tarot card reading is seen as a way to know what will happen in the future. For some people, they go to a tarot card reader to help them make decisions, while some ask questions about their dead relatives or the after-life. What people see as a harmless tool is not harmless after all. Priests believe that tarot card reading is a way of calling the devil. Therefore, there have been instances of evil possessions through tarot card reading. This is why a lot of priests are against it. Also, some tarot card readers see it as a way to dupe their customers. Some readers were caught for duping their customers into believing that the cards are cursed.

Many people are using tarot cards to find out what the future holds for them. I also went to a tarot card reader for curiosity's sake. They say that tarot card reading is a science, and people have to learn how to do and interpret it. In fact, there are so many spreads or patterns to choose from. Can you say that some tarot cards are cursed? I dont think so. First, I don't believe in curses because man is free to make choices. We either make the right or the wrong one. And second, I really don't believe much in tarot card reading as a way to predict one's future. The reader or the deck of cards does not know what choices I will make, right?

I just read an article about the Church denouncing practices that invite demonic possessions. These practices include tarot card reading. A priest said that in tarot card reading, you are opening yourself up to the devil. This scared me because I only do tarot reading for fun. And I never thought that I was inviting the devil by doing so. I also read that cases of exorcisms are on the rise today. And some of these cases started out with dabbling with the occult like tarot card reading, magic, witchcraft, and others. As for tarot cards alone being cursed, this is not true.

Tarot cards were originally made for playing games. But in the 18th and 19th centuries, tarot cards became associated with magic and mysticism. The earliest account of using tarot cards in divination was around 1750 in Italy. Tarot card reading is now considered as a tool to gain insights on present and future situations. There are different types of spreads used by tarot card readers. Do tarot cards come with a curse? This is not true. In fact, scrupulous tarot card readers use this scheme to frighten and bribe their customers. A tarot card reader can tell you that you are cursed so that you will hire him or her to remove the curse. You must never fall into that scheme.
