Abuse Report:
Having The Devil as a face up card during tarot reading does not mean anything bad. I don't really think that the cards in the tarot deck have any implication to anyone's future. The tarot deck is just a set of cards with images that have meanings derived from Medieval symbolism. In reality, tarot card reading has no implications in our lives. This is why I don't have faith in tarot cards and fortune tellers, or any psychic ability.

Abuse Report:
I think The Devil in the tarot card stands for the bad things that would happen to you in the near future. The Devil card serves as a warning that you have to prepare yourself spiritually because the devils are just lurking somewhere, waiting for you to weaken your resolve. This is the reason you should visit a fortune teller regularly. The fortune teller would be able to know if a devil would come your way. If this happens, you should prepare yourself because the devil in the form of temptations would be arriving very soon.

Abuse Report:
The Devil is a representation of a person that leans toward temptation. For instance, if the tarot cards show an eight of clubs and The Devil, this means a powerful person that could influence you a great deal would be coming your way. It is also possible that that such person would tempt you or would bring out your negative traits. You don't have worry too much because you can avoid temptations by strengthening your resolve. The Death card could help you prepare for the coming of this powerful and influential person in your life.

Abuse Report:
Like the Death Card and the Hanged Man card, "The Devil" incites fear to many people. However, this should not be so. The Devil is just a symbol of man's negative traits, specifically his hedonistic traits. This involves an obsession to pleasurable things such as drinking alcoholic beverages, or any other vice, which involves pleasure in a negative sense. If you have The Devil as the face up card during the tarot reading, there's no need to panic. This just means the hedonistic and the selfish side of yourself would be very influential in the near future. It's a pity that many people are frightened of this card. I guess, they don't realize that The Devil is nothing but a representation of one's self that is inclined to seek out its most basic desires.
