If the Illuminati is no longer in existence, what's the reason for this?
What I question
If the Illuminati is no longer in existence, what is the cause? Do you think this is a scary (ongoing) conspiracy?

Let us look at their ultimate goal--to influence economic conditions so that the world at large would believe that a "one currency" global status is the answer. They disbanded because they realized that it could not be done. So many countries in the world have contrasting viewpoints and traditions. They soon realized that this objective is impossible. They simply threw in the towel and disbanded. That could be it. Because no matter how we try to justify the one-world government or New World Order, it cannot be done. There will surely be a power struggle of some sort.

Abuse Report:
The Bavarian Illuminati was put up in 1776 in Germany by Adam Weishaupt. It was in 1784 that the group (about 2,000 in number) disbanded, through the efforts of Charles Theodore. Adam Weishaupt went to Gotha to escape. However, he and the group were later charged of inciting the French Revolution. The similarities in ideologies were noteworthy. This is the reason many circles still believe that the group is still alive, although operating as an underground group.

Who knows, maybe everything is a subterfuge? It could be that the Illuminati of today wants us to believe that the group is dead. What is dead would not be hunted, nor would it capture any attention. Of course, if they are totally ignored or believed to have disbanded, it would be so easy for them to strive for their vested interests. If not that, I have another thought: what about a "hibernating act?" They could have realized that they need to reevaluate their goals, methods, and the kind of members to be recruited. They may not actually be hiding, but just keeping it low key for a while.

The reason they are no longer in existence is simple: they never existed in the first place. The same as the Templars, this Illuminati is one of the so many secret societies that intrigued us, simply because it is human nature to get fascinated by the mysterious, with conspiracies about secret groups. There is even this theory that the Illuminati goes on generation after generation because the members' children or proteges would carry on the "mission." Do you believe that the UN itself is a front for the Illuminati? It is so ludicrous that you would either cry or laugh your heart out. Purportedly, the UN is a major step toward the fulfillment of their goal: the one-world government or leadership.
