The most logical answer to this question is that The Watchers are actually aliens. Betty Andreasson-Luca has all the evidence that anyone needs. This woman was abducted by aliens who uncovered to her that they are The Watchers. Her story about The Watchers is quite believable, mentioning that they have been around since the early human history. They regarded themselves as the guardians of the earth, watching over man. I find it a lot easier to believe that The Watchers are aliens rather than angels, especially because our own human-invented technologies seem to be headed toward the probability of us becoming aliens ourselves (extraterrestial beings that visit other solar systems and planets to observe the beings there).

I think it's all a matter of what you believe in. If you believe in Christianity or a similar religion, then you will probably be more willing to accept The Watchers as fallen angels. This is especially so because the Christian religion do not support the the existence of aliens and The Watchers were somehow described as the fallen angels in the Bible. On the other hand, if you believe in the existence of aliens, then you would probably think that The Watchers are alien beings. The way that The Watchers are described coincides with the idea of aliens that monitor the earth and its inhabitants. Still, it is difficult to find any substantial evidence that proves the existence and origins of The Watchers.

It seems like more people are inclined to believe that The Watchers are actually fallen angels and not aliens. It's easy to see why such a confusion could be made, as we know so little about aliens and what we do know of angels is rather obscure and primarily based on faith. What we do know is that The Watchers appeared several times in the Bible, mentioning about how angels started to fall for the daughters of men. The angels became fallen angels after marrying women and creating offspring known as the Nephilim. The concept is much in line with the fall of Lucifer; hence, The Watchers are referred to as fallen angels who are generally regarded as evil.

Aliens and fallen angels are all in the realm of unproven possibilities, which makes it hard to answer such a question. The watchers is so mysterious and controversial even up to this day. Tracing the origin of The Watchers to the Bible, it is supposedly a group of fallen angels who fell for the flesh of human beings. The story was reincarnated more recently when "alien abductees" claimed that they were abducted by The Watchers, who look a bit like the typical image of an alien. Either way, both stories seem too unbelievable to be true.
