The universe is just too big to pretend like we could be the only people in it but still it's really empty so we're looking for a needle in a haystack. We can't figure out what whales and dolphins are saying so what makes us think we could ever know what aliens would be all about?

I don�t see the need for alien research at all. Conducting any form of research for proving that aliens do exist is absurd and is a waste of money, resources, and time. Alien existence is a mere product of a conspiracy that the government secretly uses to cover up on secret projects that have unexpectedly failed. Alien abductions are nothing else but a product of a deluded mind, or a hallucination caused by sexual abuse when the person was a child. It�s impossible for humans to be abducted by aliens considering the distances that must be traveled between other possible inhabited planets and our planet earth.

There is actually a long stretch of possibilities for alien research. And no one in his sane mind would ever say that conducting an alien research would be an absurd thing to do. We need answers to mysteries. For those who say conducting an alien research is absurd, have you ever thought what would happen to us if we all quit expanding our knowledge? Do you think our society would usher us to progress? We propel our own success, no one else.

No, I don�t think having an alien research is absurd. There are claims to being abducted by the aliens, and therefore, it is only proper to conduct researches about aliens. Besides, there are already existing worldwide research organizations focused on studying and investigating alien abductions, alien sightings, and UFO sightings and crashes to get through the bottom of all speculations that aliens exist. How can it be absurd when these research organizations even have a link to confirm the veracity of reports, checking on all documents and photographs while posting which ones are real and which ones are mere hoaxes.
